It will be more understanding if we define who these human resource managers in education are. The present study put in to the literature of hrm and performance by examining the applicability of western concepts and theories to an eastern developing country pakistan this study is useful for managers in the education sector to come up with policies that help them to attract and retain their top level faculty at their respective universities.
